Foundations for Divergent Minds: Implementing the Divergent Minds Framework, a continuing education course for providers – live on July 8, 2023 ***Registration is now open

We are excited to participate in what could very well be the first time an Autistic-led organization is offering a provider training that will offer 5.5 hours of continuing education hours for counselors, social workers, and psychologists*. Foundations for Divergent Minds or FDM, a nonprofit organization founded and led by multiply-neurodivergent Autistic people, has created a provider training called Implementing the Divergent Minds Framework, which will be offered online as a live, synchronous course. The course is intended for professionals who serve autistic and neurodivergent individuals, from early childhood through adulthood, and will provide insight and strategies for a neurodiversity affirming approach to assessment and goal creation.

This is a unique opportunity to learn from Oswin Latimer, educator, consultant, activist and founder of FDM. Terra Vance of NeuroClastic recently praised the course, stating on Facebook, “I have NEVER in all my life met anyone who can write IEP goals like Oswin Latimer. It’s a marvelous thing to witness.” Oswin will be joined by Maribel Holder, M.S., CCC-SLP and founder of Logopedia Speech & Language Therapy, Inc in San Francisco, CA., and my partner in Spectrum Family Resource, Daniel Meisenheimer, LCSW, a mental health provider serving autistic and neurodivergent teens and adults in Texas and California.

Not only will this training be taught by teachers with years of professional and clinical experience, but every teacher mentioned is also a parent of neurodivergent children. Experience matters.

Please join us and help us spread the word. Hope to see you there!
